Of all the releases made this year, Damien Sandow was the biggest shocker of them all. He too was released in May, much to the surprise of wrestling fans everywhere. Sandow had performed flawlessly in the angle with The Miz, where he worked the role of the stunt double and had become one of the most popular Superstars amongst fans worldwide.
It seemed that Sandow was nearing a potential big push, but WWE officials obviously had other plans.

As one can imagine, Sandow immediately became the hottest free agent on the market. That's why it came as no surprise when TNA signed Sandow to a contract in August. He is currently performing as Aron Rex and has already had some success, becoming the inaugural Impact Grand Champion.

Jonathan, a big fan of Bray Wyatt, would like to see the latter's brother, Bo Dallas, continue his legacy as Uncle Howdy. If he were to work on the storyline, Jonathan would book the return of Erick Rowan as Howdy’s muscle. He thinks it would be a great way to honor the former Universal Champion.
When not writing pro wrestling features, Jonathan likes to collect sports memorabilia and has amassed a large collection of event-used and autographed relics over the years.
