Once again news about Lillian Garcia leaving WWE has surfaced again. This time this isn’t a rumor. The longtime announcer is leaving the wrestling promotion to care for her ailing father.
Garcia made the announcement on Monday and the news spread through the Internet like wildfire.
Fox Sports is reporting Garcia’s father, who is suffering from multiple types of cancer. Garcia missed time earlier this year when his health took a turn for the worse but returned to work for the last few months.

Garcia took to her Instagram account to talk to the WWE fans, talking in detail about her 15-year career with the company.
Garcia has been known for her distinctive voice, her singing in the ring and of course, her beauty. She said she is thankful for WWE – as the company has allowed her to “sing around the world.”
García was hired by the World Wrestling Federation as a ring announcer in 1999. She made her debut on the 23rd August, 1999, episode of Raw is War. She has also been involved in in-ring angles which included Jeff Jarrett applied a figure four leglock to her after she angered him by announcing his loss by disqualification to Luna Vachon.
