First organized in 1985, WrestleMania is the longest-running PPV in WWE History. Having a legacy of about four decades, it is aptly known as The Grandest Stage of Them All. It is the night where legends are crowned and legacies are cemented.
The main event of WrestleMania is the pinnacle of achievement in WWE, a battleground reserved for the absolute elite. No matter whether one wins or not, headlining the event is a big achievement in itself.
On most of the occasions, the winner of the Royal Rumble match has gone on to headline the Grandest Stage of Them All. While there have been two main events every year since WrestleMania 36, getting to that spot is still as difficult as it gets. Throughout the years, a select group of superstars have stood above the rest, gracing the main event of WrestleMania multiple times.
WWE Superstars With Most WrestleMania Main Events
Hulk Hogan has headlined 8 WrestleMania, which is the most by any WWE Superstar. However, his record is set to break in 2024 when Roman Reigns will headline the two nights and bring his total tally to Nine.
Overall, 20 wrestlers have headlined WrestleMania more than once and eight wrestlers have done so at least five times. So far, no female wrestler has headlined multiple WrestleMania events.
