The Judgment Day may change forever at SummerSlam 2024, and signs of their potential implosion have been evident on WWE RAW for weeks. These signs all hint at Finn Balor crafting a master plan to turn on the heel faction, deceiving Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, and potentially Dominik Mysterio.
Here, we look at the four biggest signs Finn Balor will betray The Judgment Day at SummerSlam 2024.
#1. Finn Balor's conflicts with Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley

The final episode of WWE RAW before SummerSlam saw Finn Balor lock horns with Gunther in the show's main event. Before this match, Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley offered to help The Prince, which left him offended. It is worth noting that the Archer of Infamy boldly declared that he didn't need the rest of Judgment Day to fight his battles but implied that Balor would need his help.
Balor showed slight resentment towards Damian Priest when the latter didn't pay much heed to their tag team title loss at WrestleMania. The Archer of Infamy also attacked The Prince when he tried to help the champion against Jey Uso. The World Heavyweight Champion played a subtle but solid role in deepening the rift between Balor and the rest of the Judgment Day.
#2. Finn Balor's backstage moments with Liv Morgan on WWE RAW
Liv Morgan targeted The Judgment Day in Rhea Ripley's absence. She attempted to divide the group, paying special attention to Dominik Mysterio. Finn Balor and his tag team partner, JD McDonagh, were caught having a secret meeting with Liv Morgan on WWE RAW.
Additionally, he was spotted taking the key that Morgan had left for Dominik. The Women's World Champion played a key role in Balor winning the World Tag Team Championship again, this time with JD McDonagh. Although Dirty Dom is widely expected to betray Rhea Ripley for Liv Morgan, the latter has had far too many suspicious interactions with Finn Balor to rule out a potential partnership in the works.
#3. Finn Balor caught instigating Dominik Mysterio
In the weeks before SummerSlam, Dominik Mysterio constantly found himself alone with Liv Morgan on WWE RAW. Most recently, Dirty Dom and Finn Balor were looking for Jey Uso, and The Prince advised his fellow Judgment Day member to follow the path that would lead him straight to Morgan.
He was also the one who advised Dominik Mysterio to challenge Jey Uso to impress Rhea Ripley. If Dominik Mysterio was telling the truth and never intended to betray Mami, Balor is most likely the one who helped Liv Morgan set the traps to make Dirty Dom look guilty on WWE television.
#4. Finn Balor spared from backstage vandalism before SummerSlam
Rhea Ripley is set to challenge Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship at SummerSlam. The two superstars have been involved in an intense rivalry that has intertwined revenge with romance on WWE RAW. Many expected Dominik Mysterio to choose Morgan over Mami, but Dirty Dom brutally rejected the Women's World Champion after her heartfelt confession.
Apparently, a vengeful Morgan destroyed The Judgment Day's clubhouse on RAW's final episode before SummerSlam and vandalized the faction's poster. However, Balor's face on the poster was not covered in black ink, which further hinted at Morgan's potential alliance with The Prince.
At SummerSlam, Damian Priest will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Gunther. With two Judgment Day members booked for important title matches, Balor might be planning two huge moments of betrayal at the upcoming premium live event.
