During last week's episode of WWE RAW, it was announced that Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio would face Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest in a mixed tag team match at the 2024 Bash in Berlin Premium Live Event. The Terror Twins would have a chance to settle the score and walk out of Germany as victors.
This week on RAW, Liv and Dominik delivered a backstage promo, confidently stating that they would reign supreme at Bash in Berlin. Liv boldly claimed that they were going to defeat Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest because she and Dirty Dom were the most dominant couple in WWE history.
While that statement might be a bit of a stretch, below are four WWE couples who were more dominant than Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio.
#4. Eddie Guerrero & Chyna
Eddie Guerrero and Chyna formed an unlikely partnership in early 2000 when the latter turned against Chris Jericho and aligned herself with Guerrero, admitting she could not resist the "Latino Heat."
The duo quickly became a fan favorite, with Chyna helping Eddie retain the European Championship. Both stars also went on to hold the Intercontinental Championship. Their in-ring chemistry and charisma make them one of the most memorable couples in WWE history to this day.
#3. Daniel Bryan & Brie Bella
It is safe to say that Daniel Bryan, now known as Bryan Danielson, was the most popular WWE Superstar in 2013-14. The entire build-up to WrestleMania 30 saw him ride the wave of the "YES! Movement" in his battles against The Authority.
Bryan's wife, Brie Bella, now known as Brie Garcia, also became involved in the storyline once Daniel became the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Stephanie McMahon fired Brie during that time, but the latter returned to get her revenge on the former.
Both Bryan and Brie were fighting against The Authority with fans overwhelmingly in their corner. Although Brie lost her match against Stephanie McMahon at SummerSlam 2014, the entire feud helped establish her as a top star. The rivalry showcased how difficult it was to defeat both her and Bryan, even when they were outnumbered on most occasions.
#2. The Miz & Maryse
The Miz & Maryse were truly the "It" couple of WWE. When Maryse returned for her second run in 2016, she aligned herself with her husband, The Miz. She played a significant role in helping The A-Lister win the Intercontinental Championship on several occasions as his manager.
The duo competed in several high-profile mixed tag team matches, including their memorable bout against John Cena and Nikki Bella, now known as Nikki Garcia, at WrestleMania 33. They also faced off against Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella, and more recently in 2022, they took on Edge, now known as Adam Copeland, and Beth Phoenix.
The couple found success outside the ring as well. Their reality show, Miz & Mrs, was a ratings hit on the USA Network.
#1. Triple H & Stephanie McMahon- WWE's power couple
The real-life power couple of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon has been a cornerstone of WWE for decades, contributing immensely to the company both on and off-screen.
In the late 1990s, as Triple H became one of the top stars, he formed a powerful alliance with the McMahon family. Together, The Game and Stephanie McMahon controlled the show, ensuring they stayed on top.
Their influence continued into the 2010s when they were central figures in The Authority, a dominant heel stable. Many major storylines revolved around them, and they played their roles to perfection. The pinnacle of their on-screen partnership came at WrestleMania 34, where they faced Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey in a highly anticipated mixed tag team match.
