It has been quite a while since Logan Paul last wrestled a match. In his last appearance, he lost his United States Championship to LA Knight at SummerSlam.

Neither Paul nor WWE has teased a return date. However, we expect this to happen soon, heading to the final premium live events of 2024 (Survivor Series: WarGames and Saturday Night's Main Event, respectively).

The former US Champion is expected to remain on the SmackDown roster, but it is unclear what he will do upon his return. Given that Logan Paul is a top heel and LA Knight a top babyface, a rematch with him could be a possibility.

If this doesn't happen, he could form a faction. This group could include the former SmackDown Tag Team Champions A-Town Down Under (Grayson Waller and Austin Theory), who are in search of a new direction after losing the titles.

Waller and Theory have a history with Paul, as they came to his aid when the latter defended his United States Championship against Kevin Owens and Randy Orton at WrestleMania 40.

In addition, Omos could return and join the faction as Paul's bodyguard. After more than seven months, Omos has teased a WWE comeback, and this could be the opportunity he is looking for to return to business.

The former champion has worked a similar storyline before, being AJ Styles' bodyguard and winning the Tag Team titles alongside The Phenomenal One at WrestleMania 37 in April 2021.

Should Logan Paul create this faction, he could become a dominant force on SmackDown and go after the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes or the OG Bloodline and The Bloodline 2.0.

Logan Paul expresses a desire to work Live Events with WWE

The former United States Champion has been a part-time wrestler in WWE, making occasional appearances on SmackDown and working the top premium live events, like the Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, and SummerSlam.

During his conversation with Dominik Mysterio on the IMPAULSIVE podcast, Logan Paul said he wanted to change this and start working Live Events, which he hasn't done during his WWE career.

"I want to get active next year. I told Triple H, 'I want to get active, I want to be the workhorse. I want to do live events," the former champion said.

That said, it remains to be seen when Logan Paul will make his WWE comeback and what plans the creative team has for him.
