Logan Paul was last seen in WWE at SummerSlam in early August when he lost the United States Championship to LA Knight. Heading into the final premium live event of 2024, The Maverick could show up to start building up his next feud. But who could be his next opponent since WWE appears to have plans for all top stars at the moment?

The answer is WWE legend John Cena. The 47-year-old icon will spend the entire 2025 with WWE, going on a farewell tour and retiring in December 2025. Set to face the top stars in the business, a feud with Logan Paul would make sense, as the former champion has done a great job as a heel, while John Cena is a top face in the company.

To build up the feud, Paul could return this Friday on SmackDown and call out the 16-time World Champion, taking a shot at The Cenation Leader in the build-up for a dream match in 2025.

Logan Paul could even refer to the 47-year-old icon's comments, where he said that his 'old self would hate' Paul. On his Impaulsive podcast, the former United States Champion has already opened up about his desire to have a dream match with John Cena.

"I think me versus John Cena would break the Internet. And I texted Triple H right away. I said, 'Do you want to break the Internet again?' That's a dream match-up, dude, at WrestleMania in L.A. next year on my birthday," Logan said. [H/T WrestlingInc.co]

Given that John Cena will work the majority of premium live events in 2025, there will be plenty of opportunities for the match to happen during Cena's farewell tour.

John Cena is not the only WWE star Logan Paul wants to face next

Logan Paul could pursue a dream match with John Cena, but the 16-time World Champion is not the only WWE star the former champion could target. On an episode of his Impaulsive podcast, The Maverick said he wants to fight The Bloodline's Enforcer, Jacob Fatu.

Jacob Fatu has done a great job as The Enforcer in Bloodline 2.0, next to Solo Sikoa. Fatu made his WWE debut in June, and the company has high expectations for him.

Fatu is currently a key part of The Bloodline Civil War, but if he is to face Paul, he will need to have a face turn since both are heels at the moment.
