You kind of have to feel sorry for Elias. He hasn't had a meaningful storyline really since he come up to the main roster, yet he is still one of the best acts on Monday Night Raw.

Elias has the 'It factor' and is able to connect with the audience in a way that not many other Superstars can. It's just a shame that he hasn't had a run with a title like the Intercontinental Championship because if anybody deserves it, it is him.

It seems that his role on the main roster is to help get other people over and be more of a musical/comical character rather than be somebody serious who could lead the company into the future. If the WWE plays their cards right with Elias, they could have him be like a modern-day version of The Rock.

Elias isn't any sort of technical wrestler in the ring, however, he has improved quite a lot and he's able to play both a face and a heel character and still get great reactions, despite which alliance he has. Only a few Superstars are able to do that and WWE have failed to capitalise on it.

They need to change what they do with him and allow him to have a mid-card title run, and they could even build him up to be a future world champ. He may not be the best in-ring worker, however, he certainly makes up for it in the charisma and character department.

If WWE don't do something with Elias, then it will be a missed opportunity. He's only going to get better in the ring the more matches that he has, and anything that they want to work on with him can be done at the Performance Centre
