Lucha Underground Ultima Lucha Tres Part Four (19/10/17) Results and Review

#3 Lucha Underground Championship vs. Career: Johnny Mundo [c] vs. Prince Puma

Prince Puma's career was on the line in this one, as the two men who headlined the first episode of Lucha Underground did so again in what could be the last. You know what you are going to get with John Morrison and Ricochet, and this was exactly it.

The two traded athletic moves for the most part before a referee bump allowed Worldwide Underground to get involved. Ricochet simply wouldn't stay down, leading to Mundo, Jack Evans and PJ Black destroying the referee again. Angelico returned to The Temple at this point, taking out the nefarious stable.

With everyone by the wayside, it was once again left to Mundo and Puma, with the latter eventually becoming the first two-time Lucha Underground Champion after a beautiful 630 splash.

Result: Prince Puma def. Johnny Mundo to become the Lucha Underground Champion

Just as it seemed the show was going to end on a happy note, Dario Cueto piped up and informed the believers that there was going to be one match. Pentagon Dark was cashing in his Gift of the Gods Championship title shot, and The Temple went crazy at the announcement. Dario also upped the ante by announcing that both men's careers would be on the line.

#4 Lucha Underground Championship: Prince Puma [c] vs. Pentagon Dark

The action was fast and furious from the get-go, with Pentagon managing to hit his armbreaker spot within minutes. Puma popped the arm back in place and continued fighting, fully aware that his livelihood was on the line in this one.

Puma managed to fight back against all the odds, but a mixture of fate and desperation were to get the better of him. As Puma was about to hit the 630, Vampiro pulled Pentagon out of the way, allowing Pentagon to hit the Package Piledriver for the win.

Result: Pentagon Dark def. Prince Puma

The show ended with an incredible montage, as the door shuts on Lucha Underground for the foreseeable future. Will there be a season four? It isn't looking good, but if Ultima Lucha Tres is the end then what a way to go out!
