At WWE Crown Jewel, Chelsea Green and Piper Niven were not able to win the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. In what was a Fatal four-way Tag Team match, Green and Niven put their best foot forward but ended up short as Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill retained their titles.
However, this defeat in Saudi Arabia raises the question of what's next for Green in her WWE career. As a personality, she has been able to entertain WWE audiences, but her career as a wrestler needs to warrant more.
In this article, we will take a look at three directions for Green after WWE Crown Jewel 2024.
#3. Chelsea Green could leave WWE
Since losing the Women's Tag Team Championship in December last year, Chelsea Green hasn't tasted championship success in WWE. As a matter of fact, things haven't been going right for Green as she first lost a Dumpster match to Michin on SmackDown, and now the loss at Crown Jewel.
Hence, the Canadian superstar could take a break from WWE. Green could take some time off to rethink her strategy and come back stronger. Also, if Green spends some time away from the Stamford-based promotion, the crowd too will realize her importance, which will make her a bigger star when she returns.
#2. Brutally Piper Niven
During the match at WWE Crown Jewel, Piper Niven, in one spot, accidentally squashed Chelsea Green. While most people would let a scenario like this go away, knowing Green, it's hard to imagine she will be able to get over it without confronting Niven.
Hence, Green could confront Niven about what happened at Crown Jewel, and this confrontation could lead to the Canadian launching a brutal attack on the Scottish wrestler. This attack on Niven could also lead to her being sidelined for a while.
#1. Pursue a singles career
Before WrestleMania 40, several reports suggested Chelsea Green had impressed WWE officials, and she was in line to receive a major push after the Show of Shows. While Green is yet to receive that reported push, now could be the perfect time.
On SmackDown, Green could pursue a singles career and work her way towards the WWE Women's Championship. Since Green has never been a World Champion in WWE, this could be an ideal route for her. While there are many things Green can do, it will be interesting to see what route she takes.
