The latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown saw Jade Cargill brutally attacked by a mystery attacker backstage. This occurred while Cargill’s tag team partner Bianca Belair was competing in the Women’s United States Championship Triple-Threat qualifying match against Chelsea Green and Blair Davenport.
Bianca Belair was dominating the matchup, and it looked like she was going to pick up an easy win over Green and Davenport. However, The EST of WWE immediately left the match after backstage footage was played on Titantron, showing Jade Cargill lying motionless on the broken windshield of a car, all banged up and bruised.
After the brutal attack by an anonymous assailant, Jade Cargill was taken to a local hospital in an ambulance under medical supervision. Later, the Stamford-based company announced that Cargill would be out for a while, as she had sustained multiple injuries in the attack. Bianca and Jade are the reigning Women’s Tag Team Champions, and in her absence, Belair needs to find a replacement or relinquish the title.
In a surprising twist, Naomi could replace Cargill as the second half of Women’s Tag Team Champions. Later, upon Jade Cargill’s return, it could be revealed that Belair and Naomi conspired together, leading to the attack on the 32-year-old, and The EST of WWE could turn heel for the first time in her career.

The real reason why Jade Cargill was written off television
After getting viciously attacked by an unknown attacker on the blue brand, Jade was taken for medical attention. Later, the Stamford-based company provided an official update on her injuries on their official X account, which revealed she had suffered multiple injuries, including deep lumbar paraspinal muscle contusions, a bruised kidney, sprained MCL in her right knee, right knee tibial plateau bone bruise, and facial lacerations, all of which will keep her out of action for an indefinite time.
Since the angle took place on the blue brand, fans have been wondering if Jade Cargill was actually injured or if it was a storyline injury similar to Randy Orton being taken out by Kevin Owens. According to a report by Fightful Select, Jade’s angle on SmackDown was to cover her real injury. However, the nature of the injury has not been revealed yet.
It remains to be seen who was behind hurting Cargill brutally on Friday Night SmackDown.
