Major storyline update on The Authority

After Team Cena’s win against Team Authority in the WWE Survivor Series 2014, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon made their triumphant return on Monday Night’s Raw after being reinstated by John Cena himself. At the end of the Raw, it was announced that The Authority will return to power at WWE beginning from next year’s first episode of Raw.

Cena was forced to make this decision after Seth Rollins held WWE Hall of Famer Edge as hostage in the ring during the “Cutting Edge Peep Show” segment. Rollins threatened to Curb Stomp Edge which could have resulted in a permanent damage to the Superstar.

Coincidently, this news comes after WWE Star Daniel Bryan announced himself into the 2015 Royal Rumble. We have already noted that after the Authority’s lost in Survivor Series, Bryan took charge of the Monday Night’s Raw and punished them by arranging re-matches against Team Cena again.

Also, the Sting who is speculated to appear on few TV segments before WrestleMania, was the main reason behind Team Cena’s win at the Survivor Series, there is also a possibility that he might face anyone from Team Authority. But just these are mere speculations, come next year we will know better on how the Authority approaches on these matters.

While most of the fans will be happy for the return of Team Authority, many criticized the way in which they got back, by threatening a Hall of Famer. Fans took it to social media to express their disappointment and anger.
