Current Survivor Series lineup is looking great, but WWE wants to make it more interesting. That’s why an open challenge match is rumored to be scheduled at Survivor Series 2013.
WWE superstar Ryback is not in any of the Survivor Series matches so he is issuing an open challenge to any wrestler who wants to face him at Survivor Series PPV. On Friday morning he was being interviewed by James Stewart. Ryback demanded an open challenge match. He said:
“The open challenge is for anyone out there. I’m kind of a bully. I like a good fight and I like picking on people. If it’s someone bigger than me so be it.”

It’s still a mystery that who will face him. Maybe upcoming Smackdown will reveal it.
Besides Survivor Series he talked about many other things. When he was asked about his name, he said:
“When I first got into wrestling my name was Silverback, like the gorilla, and that was my nickname as a kid from my friends. My real name is Ryan, my old name was Silverback and ‘Ryback’ just kind of popped into my head. That’s how it was born.”
He was also asked about his favorite wrestler. He said:
“Looking back I loved Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart. I didn’t know why I necessarily liked them as a kid, but now you realize they were just so good. They were great entertainers and in-ring performers.”
He also expressed his thoughts about Vince McMahon. He compared Vince to an emperor and said:
“He’s the Roman emperor, and we are all his gladiators. And I want to be the biggest, baddest gladiator.”
And finally the big question was asked. It was about Bill Goldberg. He said:
“I have a great amount of respect for Bill Goldberg, but I’m not going to beat around the bush and say I wanna be best friends with the guy. I’d like to face him in the ring.”
“I’ve heard him say he’s not happy with comments I’ve made about him, if he has a problem with it let’s settle it at Wrestlemania.”
As we mentioned that WWE has big plans for Wrestlemania XXX. And now Ryback has no problem facing Goldberg in a match. If Goldberg and WWE gets agree then it can happen at Wrestlemania XXX. But current question is who will face Ryback at Survivor Series? After Smackdown it will be more clear but one thing is sure, this Survivor Series is going to be a great PPV. Who knows ? We could even see a return at this PPV.
