Michael Cole may have subtly confirmed Roman Reigns will not return to WWE any time soon

The last time Roman Reigns appeared on WWE programming, he was viciously attacked by Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline. While Reigns had a good few weeks beating on his younger brother, Sikoa and his faction were quick to regroup and eventually put Reigns through the announcer's table.

Since this incident took place on SmackDown, many are wondering when The Original Tribal Chief will return. While there is no official date mentioning his return, during the recent Bash in Berlin Premium Live Event, veteran commentator Michael Cole may have confirmed that Reigns won't be returning anytime soon.

After Cody Rhodes defended his Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens, Michael Cole said on commentary that it looked like Solo Sikoa would be next for the champion. If that's the case, then it means the rivalry between Roman Reigns and Sikoa will be on the sidelines for a while.

This means Reigns probably won't return to the Stamford-based promotion anytime soon, and the Bad Blood PLE will feature a match between Rhodes and Solo Sikoa. While the angle is speculative, there is a chance Cole's words could mean a delay in Reigns' return to WWE.

The last two WrestleManias witnessed Roman Reigns defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes. While the title defense at WrestleMania 39 was successful, The American Nightmare got his revenge and finished the story at WrestleMania 40.

Since then, many have speculated who The Original Tribal Chief would face at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas next year. During an episode of his podcast Notsam Wrestling, WWE analyst Sam Roberts predicted Reigns would either face Solo Sikoa or Jacob Fatu at 'Mania.

"I truly think that at WrestleMania we're still gonna end up with either Roman versus Solo or maybe we'll get Roman versus Jacob at WrestleMania, and The Rock versus Cody," he said. [31:26-31:39]

A potential match between Roman Reigns and Solo SIkoa at a stage like WrestleMania would be epic, given the heat between the two. It will also be interesting to see other Bloodline members involve themselves in what would most likely be a match to determine the Tribal Chief once and for all.

On the other hand, a match between Reigns and Jacob Fatu wouldn't hurt either, given that it would be spectacular to watch inside the ring. But Jacob will have to increase his stock in WWE before that could happen.
