Mick Foley to undergo surgery, William Regal misses TV tapings due to health issues

We had noted earlier that WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley was facing back problems recently as a result of the beatings and brutal wrestling matches he had worked over the years.

He had posted about his back issues on Facebook last week.

The hardcore legend will be undergoing surgery tomorrow. He wrote the following on Facebook:

“It’s a relatively minor procedure that I hope will produce major results – as the pain these past two weeks has just been excruciating.”

Elsewhere, newly appointed NXT manager William Regal was scheduled to work the WWE TV tapings in California last week. He was also supposed to stay and scout talents at PWG’s Battle of Los Angeles.

But Wrestling Observer reports that due to some health problems, Regal could not make the trip. He was doing better by late last week and has had an issue with his voice.
