– WWE’s creative has been in somewhat of a crisis in recent times. Fans have been complaining about weak storylines and the lack of entertainment value in them.
The WWE is marred by injuries which has been a huge problem for the creative. WWE look set to bolster their creative writing ranks by employing Mick Foley’s son Dewey as a writer. It has already been reported that Foley’s son Dewey would be working as an assistant to a creative writer.
Dewey will be with the company from January to Wrestlemania 32. It was noted by Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer Radio that Dewey will be joining the WWE on a training basis.
It was also reported that he may not have much of creative power but will be seen in an intern kind of role. He will mostly be working from home and will be present for a couple of events.
His job would be to get the scripts to the WWE talent and run them through the current show. Dewey has written a few blogs related to his opinion about the direction of WWE creative and this might be a great stepping stone for him to get into that position.
Mick Foley wrote a blog on facebook answering some of the questions about his son and the WWE thrown at him. He said that his son will start working in January and also stated that Dewey did not get this job because of his last lame, but his hard work and persistence is what got him here.
He also added that Dewey has been working sleeplessly in solitude for quite some time and when the opportunity arose, it was the best thing that could have happened.
Foley also spoke about his daughter Noelle. Noelle has become some sort of a sensation and is huge on social media. Noelle has been turning quite a few heads garnering a lot of fans along the way.
Foley said that there has been a talk of Noelle being employed with the WWE. It was rumoured that Noelle would be employed as a backstage interviewer. Foley said that he would love for her to get that role and join the company, but also added that all of it is just talk right now.
