Mile 22

Mile 22 is an American action thriller movie released in 2018 that featured Mark Wahlberg, Iko Uwais, John Malkovich, Lauren Cohan, and Ronda Rousey in lead roles. Made in the range of $35 Million to $60 Million, the movie was released on August 17, 2018, and grossed around $66.3 Million at the box office.

It is directed by Peter Berg, who in 2018, discussed the possibility of a sequel. The possible sequel has not yet been made official as of 2023.

Synopsis

In this action thriller, CIA operative James Silva leads a lethal paramilitary team on a dangerous mission to transport a foreign intelligence asset from an American embassy on foreign soil to an airfield for extraction -- a distance of 22 miles. Silva and his soldiers must race against time as the city's military, police, and various street gangs track and battle them to reclaim the foreign intelligence asset.
