Mixed Match Challenge Results: Big E and Carmella vs The Miz and Asuka

This week's episode of WWE Mixed Match Challenge began quickly, with Carmella coming out first. She was followed out by Big E and the New Day, who all have their own mini MITB briefcases. Asuka and Miz come out, with both of them doing Miz's pose at the top of the ramp. They both end their entrance at the corner of the ring, doing their poses.

The camera then changed focus to Cole, Beth Phoenix and Corey Graves, with Graves having pancakes stacked together on his head thanks to Big E.

Miz and Big E start off first, with Big E using his strength to quickly take over. After a few minutes, the crowd begins to chant "We Want Asuka." Miz gladly tags in Asuka, while Carmella cautiously gets in the ring.

Big E wants Carmella to give Asuka her first L

Carmella gives Asuka her first "L," a giant letter L to be exact. Asuka breaks it, but before she can attack Carmella, the Princess of Staten Island tags in Big E. Miz gets him down to the ground and mimics Big E before the multi-time tag champion hits Miz with three belly to belly suplexes.

The camera then pans to commentator Michael Cole watching MMC footage, trying to show the WWE Universe how to use Facebook Watch, but missing some action of the match.

The Miz counters a Big Ending with his patented DDT. Asuka and Miz hit their opponents with It Kicks, and the crowd goes wild.

Miz dominates Big E for a few minutes, catching him with a big boot and another flurry of kicks.

The Intercontinental Champion misses Big E with his corner clothesline, but he landed in his corner, and Asuka tags in. The former NXT champion goes after Carmella, but Asuka gets distracted and is then hit with a superkick from Carmella.

Carmella begins trash talking Asuka and slaps her. The Empress of Tomorrow lands a knock out combination full of spinning back elbows and a kick to the face, before locking her in an armbar.

The Miz runs around the ring, pulling Big E off of the apron, while Carmella is forced to tap out at 9:12.

Results: Asuka and the Miz defeat Carmella and Big E

Renee Young interviews Miz and Asuka post-match. Asuka speaks for a few seconds in Japanese, and Miz says she thanked Miz for taking her to new heights, and that they'll win the MMC because they're "Awe-ska"
