Carmella has been a sensation on the mic ever since winning the Smackdown Women's Title in April. The way she has taunted Asuka throughout the buildup of this match was her best work since making her main roster debut in 2016. Asuka, on the other hand, gained a lot of momentum after defeating Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville in a handicap match last week before making Mella submit this week.

But this is where everything takes a turn. Before last nights 10-Women tag match, only a few very giving Carmella to walk out of Money in the Bank with the Title. However, her loss on Smackdown, that also at the hands of Asuka, means that she will retain the title this Sunday. Expect the IIconics, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville to interfere on behalf of Carmella, allowing her to win the match and extend this feud to Extreme Rules
