Rollins and Styles didn't disappoint

On a night of controversial booking decisions and weak looking finishes, it was Seth Rollins and AJ Styles, the WWE's two most consistent performers in recent years, who once again stepped up to the plate and smashed the ball out of the park.

Dream matches often fail to deliver in the WWE, and while this match lacked a certain sense of unpredictability, the two men put together a beautifully executed masterclass in professional wrestling that highlighted exactly why they deserve to be at the top of the Raw roster right now.

Despite the predictable nature of the match, the two men still managed to string together several exciting exchanges that had fans questioning whether or not they would see a surprise title change.

The post-match show of respect suggested that we could get to see further clashes between these two superstars further down the line as well.
