#8 Tony Neese Vs Ariya Daivari

Neese and Daivari couldn't capture the audience's attention

While it was nice to see the Cruiserweight Championship being featured on the main show, it's a shame that this match couldn't quite deliver the kind of matches fans of Buddy Murphy's title reign has become accustomed to.

While Neese put on a solid show here, the Premier Athlete lacks the same kind of charisma that Murphy had and his in-ring work just doesn't captivate the audience in quite the same way.

As for Daivari, he looked fine here but he never came across as too much of a legitimate challenger, and the outcome of the match felt far too obvious from the opening bell.

Hopefully, the WWE can now spend some time building up Drew Gulak as Neese's next opponent and allow those two performers to do their thing the next time the WWE decides to put the Cruiserweight Championship on the main show.
