The Women set a good tone for the rest of the night

The Women's Money in the Bank ladder match got the night off to a fantastic start and set the standard that the rest of the show struggled to follow.

The layout for this encounter was perfect, and every superstar involved, including the likes of Dana Brooke and Natalya, was given ample time to do their own thing in the encounter.

There were several memorable spots throughout the match, and it was good to see Nikki Cross being given a chance to finally do her thing on the main roster.

Bailey picking up the victory was clearly the right idea given what went down later on in the night, and the finish involving Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville sets up a potentially interesting feud between the two women and the newly crowned Champion in the coming weeks and months.

On the whole, this was the strongest Women's Money in the Bank match to date.
