What's next for Rey Mysterio and Aleister Black?
Soon after the bell rang, Aleister Black and Rey Mysterio locked horns to kickstart the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. The exchange of hard-hitting blows between the two Superstars and their chemistry led many into thinking about a possible feud between Mysterio and Black on RAW. However, WWE Creative had something else planned for both of them.

Towards the end of the show, when all the Money in the Bank contenders reached the roof, the situation turned chaotic pretty quickly. That’s when Mysterio thought of attacking King Corbin, but the latter simply ‘threw him off the roof’. Soon after that, Aleister Black tried to attack Corbin at the same place, and he too met with a similar fate. While this spot indeed confirmed that both Superstars won’t be reaching for the MITB briefcase anymore, it also led to a variety of speculations online.

As reported by Sportskeeda’s Lennard Surrao, both Black and Mysterio were selected for this spot in order to establish the background of the upcoming changes. The reports claim that Mysterio might be on his way out of WWE after Money in the Bank, and this is how he wanted to do it. However, we did see Mysterio on the following episode of RAW, so he is probably going to use that exit from the ladder match to revamp his career.
As for Black, it was surprising to see his exit from the match as he was one of the favorites for winning the Money in the Bank briefcase this year. However, rumors suggest that he was thrown off the roof to lay the groundwork of the upcoming change in his gimmick. However, Black did appear on RAW this week and he was very much portraying his usual character. So only time will tell what's in store for The Dutch Destroyer.
