Ever since her debut on the main roster, Lacey Evans has improved with each passing week. She has been involved in good feuds and has important victories under her belt. Despite getting several shots at the Women's Championship on both brands, Evans has struggled to capitalize on her opportunity. But this could change at the upcoming Money in the Bank PPV.
Lacey Evans defeated long-term rival Sasha Banks to qualify for the Women's Money in the Bank ladder match. It is also interesting to note that she was also the one who eliminated Banks from the Championship match at WrestleMania 36. However, both those instances had Bayley playing a crucial role, albeit mistakenly. It is clear that WWE are headed towards the much-awaited feud between Banks and Bayley, but where does that leave Evans?
Well, ideally it should be atop the WWE Headquarters, holding the Money in the Bank briefcase, and staring at the bright future that awaits her. After winning the crucial contract, Evans could cash-in on Bayley when she is with Banks inside the ring. It could lead to Bayley losing her title because of Banks, which would then serve as an essential catalyst in the impending feud between the two best friends.
Also, it will allow the WWE to get an idea about Evans' run as a champion that will open a whole new door of opportunities for the 'Sassy Southern Belle'. She could even drop her title to either of the two Superstars in a matter of weeks, but for now, she is the most deserving contender to win the Money in the Bank contract this year.
