Drew McIntyre's rise to the top has been nothing short of a fairytale come true. His second run with the WWE mostly saw him work as a heel until he decided to take on Brock Lesnar. In a brilliant spectacle at WrestleMania 36, the Scottish Psychopath defeated The Beast Incarnate to become the WWE Champion. He is now set to defend his title against Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank.

Following the Showcase of Immortals, the Monday Night Messiah set his sights on the WWE Championship. He claimed that he is the one who should be leading the company during these difficult times. But McIntyre wasn't having any of it and challenged Rollins for a match at Money in the Bank.
Now, Rollins definitely has an added advantage as his disciple and trusted friend Murphy is expected to lurk around the squared circle. However, it is McIntyre who should walk out of Money in the Bank with his title.
Drew McIntyre's championship reign has been a breath of fresh air, especially after that of Lesnar's. The Beast Incarnate himself was invested in putting McIntyre over with the crowd as was evident with the effort he put in the entire rivalry. The Scotsman deserves a lengthy title reign as he is the kind of champion that will help keep the top Superstars of the Red brand busy.
McIntyre must get a chance to engage in title feuds against the likes of AJ Styles, Aleister Black, Andrade, and even an extended feud with Rollins. But for that, the Scottish Psychopath must successfully defend his Championship at Money in the Bank 2020.
