The former two-time Money in the Bank winner, Carmella, didn’t even get to see the briefcase this year. The ‘Staten Island Princess’ started off well when she raced against the likes of Lacey Evans and Shayna Baszler in search of the fastest way to the top. She even managed to gain the upper hand in one or two altercations, but after that, everything went downhill for her.
Carmella took the opportunity to slow down Dana Brooke by putting her head through a poster as the latter was distracted inside the Money in the Bank conference room.
That should have ideally given her a substantial upper hand, but the food fight broke right after Nia Jax confronted her.
Once the Superstars were back on their way to look for the Money in the Bank briefcase, Carmella bumped into Jax again. The latter then powerbombed Mella, and she could not get up after that.
It would have been good if she at least got to climb the ladder, but unfortunately, Carmella couldn’t even get to the roof of the WWE Headquarters.

Her favorite wrestler is Finn Balor due to his persistence.
When she is not working as a writer, Shruti loves to read, enjoy a good cup of coffee, and let Manchester City dictate her weekend plans.
