#1 AJ Styles
The final competitor to be added to the men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match is AJ Styles, who returned on RAW and defeated Humberto Carrillo to win the Last Chance Gauntlet. This was his first WWE appearance since stealing the show at WrestleMania 36, alongside The Undertaker.
That Boneyard match was fantastic and may have raised AJ's stock a whole lot. The Money in the Bank briefcase could be a just reward for helping Undertaker to his best WrestleMania match in seven years. The Phenomenal One would be a good choice to win it as well.
While it would have worked much better had Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson still been in WWE, AJ Styles with the briefcase seems like a perfect match. He is a cunning and vicious heel, with the capability to sneak from behind and take what he wants.
The heel work Styles did in his 'Mania program with Undertaker unlocked a new dimension of him. And now, he has momentum on his side as well. Money in the Bank contract or not, a return to the main event is inevitable for him.
And looking at how long he was on top of the card, it may come as a surprise that AJ Styles is only a 2-time WWE Champion. It's time he adds to that, doing so by "climbing the corporate ladder" and winning Money in the Bank.
