#1 Triple H
Now, this might come as the biggest surprise on the list. Triple H was last seen on TV at WrestleMania 35 where he defeated The Animal, Batista in a No Holds Barred match. With the TV ratings falling continuously, we are witnessing Vince and Shane McMahon appear on TV as the authority figures.
Surprisingly, Triple H is yet to comment on this issue. Keep in mind, he was the one who announced last year that the fans would be the main boss and they would decide what they want to see. Recently, he has liked some very controversial tweets that have blamed Vince McMahon for the falling ratings and suggest Triple H taking over soon.
Imagine this situation - Triple H interferes when Randy Orton is about to win the briefcase in the closing moments of the match and helps one of his NXT graduates win the briefcase. He can then take the mic and say "Randy, I respect you, but you are the past just like Vince. I'm here to TakeOver WWE and there's no one who can stop me!"
This would add some storyline to his announced match next month against Orton at WWE Super ShowDown, and would start a power-struggle feud between Hunter and Vince, something which will surely make for good TV and make fans tune in thus resulting in increased ratings.
With WWE looking desperate to solve the rating issue, this might surely be one guaranteed way of doing that. With the debut of a new rival just a few days after MITB, WWE needs some huge storyline to keep fans interested in the product.
