Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer revealed that there are at least a couple of wrestlers currently in TNA who are extremely unhappy with the late payments and are ready to declare themselves as free agents as soon as next week if the payment issues are not resolved and would be actively interested in a WWE contract. TNA’s wrestlers are scheduled to be paid on the 15th and the 30th and it will be interesting to see if the payments come through.

TNA have also had to remove DJ Z and Mike Bennett’s entrance music from last night’s show with issues regarding musical rights. Neither of those two themes are produced by Billy Corgan so we know that isn’t an issue with the lawsuit. There was also talk on Thursday of POP TV cancelling Impact if the music issues aren’t sorted.
We can also finally reveal the mystery funder who came in at the last moment to pay for TNA’s last set of taping. The money was put in by a parent company of The Fight Network, Anthem Sports, sp technically the money was put in by The Fight Network who, on the face of it, look like they’re another player the TNA sale saga. Representatives from The Fight Network were also at the last set of tapings meeting with Dixie Carter. If the reported deal with WWE falls through, it looks like we have another player actively interested in purchasing TNA.
