The latest episode of WWE SmackDown was a memorable night for the Motor City Machine Guns. In just their second week as WWE Superstars, they defeated the formidable Bloodline duo of Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa to capture the Tag Team Championships.

Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin have already demonstrated their class, winning the titles in only their third match with the Stamford-based company. However, there is a possibility that a new Bloodline duo may debut soon to reclaim the tag titles for the faction, that being none other than Hikuleo and Zilla Fatu.

Hikuleo, son of wrestling legend Haku, has already signed with WWE and is expected to make his debut soon. Zilla Fatu, son of the late Umaga, has recently been the subject of rumors regarding a potential move to the Stamford-based promotion.

These additions could further strengthen the new Bloodline. Hikuleo and Zilla could announce their arrival by beating The Motor City Machine Guns for the tag team titles.

Booker T pushing for Zilla Fatu to get signed by WWE

Zilla Fatu has made a name for himself on the independent circuit. The member of the Anoaʻi family was trained by none other than wrestling legend Booker T, who is currently advocating for Zilla to sign with the Stamford-based promotion.

Booker T praised Zilla as a great talent who needs to reach the next level by securing a move to WWE. He mentioned that World Wrestling Entertainment is the ideal landing spot for Zilla, alongside his family in The Bloodline. He added that he has been actively pushing for this move to happen.

On an episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T said:

"My thing is this, we concentrate on Reality of Wrestling and our thing is I can’t think about anything other than trying to get that young man, Zilla, because he’s talent, get him to the next level, and the next level for me for Zilla, is the WWE. That’s his landing zone. That’s his safe zone, the WWE and his family. I really believe that...but I’m definitely going to try to get him all the way to the WWE and beyond just because he’s family."

It will be interesting to see if Zilla Fatu signs with the Stamford-based promotion down the line.
