IYO SKY is set to face Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship at Saturday Night's Main Event. The match was made official on the latest edition of RAW. However, weeks before her huge championship opportunity, The Genius of the Sky could fall prey to a merciless attack at the hands of Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez on the red brand.
In a shocking turn of events, IYO could be ruled out of her title match due to a potential injury that could sideline her for a considerable time. As a result, Rhea Ripley could replace her and take her spot in the Women's World Championship match at the upcoming spectacle. The multi-time women's champion has unfinished business with Liv Morgan.
Ripley pinned the reigning champion fair and square in the middle of the ring in the Women's WarGames Match at Survivor Series. Therefore, Mami could claim a shot at the coveted title at Saturday Night's Main Event in the wake of a potential injury of IYO SKY. The Eradicator could surprisingly dethrone Morgan to reclaim the Women's World Championship, putting an end to their long-standing rivalry.
On the other hand, the Damage CTRL member could make a triumphant return to WWE next year and claim her deserved shot at the world title. This could ultimately lead to the highly anticipated match between IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley, which is currently rumored to take place at WrestleMania 41.

However, the abovementioned scenario is entirely speculation. If it happens it would certainly change the dynamics of the women's division on Monday Night RAW.
IYO SKY to part ways with Damage CTRL on WWE RAW?
IYO SKY has been a part of Damage CTRL since the formation of the faction. However, she has mostly failed to make a mark on the red brand as part of the group. On the other hand, the 34-year-old has been thriving as a singles star on Monday Night RAW. WWE appears to have major plans for IYO going forward.
There is a good possibility that she could eventually part ways with Damage CTRL in the coming months. The Genius of the Sky is currently involved in the Women's World Championship picture while Dakota Kai is in the race to become the inaugural Women's Intercontinental Champion.
Meanwhile, Kairi Sane has been failing to establish herself in the tag team division. Therefore, all the members of Damage CTRL could embark on their own singles paths on the Monday night show. The faction could soon break up, opening the door for a fresh beginning for IYO SKY, Dakota and Kairi.
It will be interesting to see whether WWE subtly decides to disband the group or if it breaks up after a potential betrayal angle. Although it is an intriguing prospect, this is currently speculation.
