CM Punk is the talk of the town as WWE Universe wants him to return to the promotion by appearing at Survivor Series, which takes place in Chicago. However, fans believe that the company is planning a massive swerve and that the 10-time Champion will appear during the event instead of The Straight Edge Superstar.
Earlier this year, CM Punk was fired from All Elite Wrestling after numerous backstage incidents throughout his run with the Jacksonville promotion. However, the exit paved the way to potentially return to WWE after nearly ten years since he left the company in 2014.
The promotion is less than a week away to host WWE Survivor Series 2023 in Chicago, and fans are excited about the return of Randy Orton to the event.

However, fans also believe there's a high chance that the management will pull a major swerve by bringing back Brock Lesnar instead of CM Punk for a potential match against Shinsuke Nakamura.

CM Punk has a history with Brock Lesnar during his final WWE run
In 2011, CM Punk became the biggest star in the world of professional wrestling after his infamous pipebomb promo. The Summer of Punk concluded when he feuded with Triple H for a while before recapturing the WWE Championship from Alberto Del Rio at Survivor Series 2011.
After over a year of dominance as the WWE Champion, he finally dropped the title to The Rock. Later, he failed to defeat The Undertaker at WrestleMania 29 and went away for a while. The Straight Edge Superstar returned as a face and spent some time around Paul Heyman before the Wise Man turned on him.
The Beast Incarnate also returned to the promotion and defended Paul Heyman against CM Punk. The two stars feuded on Monday Night RAW over the summer, which cumulated into a match at the Biggest Party of The Summer.
The Straight Edge Superstar faced The Beast Incarnate at SummerSlam 2013 in a No Disqualification match. Brock Lesnar won the bout, and the two never faced each other inside the squared circle for a rematch.
