Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will be in for the fight of his life at SummerSlam when faces the new Tribal Chief Solo Sikoa for the title. However, former WWE personality Jim Cornette felt a surprise appearance by Brock Lesnar to help Cody could not be ruled out because of Heyman's involvement.
On his rise to the top, Cody systematically destroyed The Bloodline. While Cody was occupied with other challengers such as AJ Styles and Logan Paul, Solo gradually restructured the faction and made them a dominant force again. On the road to SummerSlam, The Bloodline laid waste to every one of Cody's allies such as Randy Orton and Kevin Owens, leaving The American Nightmare virtually on his own.
On a recent episode of The Jim Cornette Experience, the veteran discussed about a possible return for Brock Lesnar. He felt the only reason WWE might not utilize The Beast as Cody's ally was that The Bloodline members were still not on the same level as him. However, Jim also acknowledged that the faction laid out Paul Heyman and The Wiseman might use his connections with CM Punk or Brock Lesnar to get back-up for Cody Rhodes.
"I think it's early for that right now if only because The Bloodline, all the new guys need to be established more before they get in the ring with Brock." Cornette continued, "And again, the Heyman involvement is out there with him. It could be with several people, it can be with Brock, it can be with Punk." [From 0:49 - 1:35]

Cody Rhodes will go against The Bloodline alone
This week on SmackDown, Cody Rhodes appeared in a video package to address the fans. He spoke about how he completed his story against all odds.
He also acknowledged the support he received from his allies Randy Orton and Kevin Owens, and how The Bloodline viciously attacked them in consecutive weeks now.
The American Nightmare then made it clear that he would walk into SummerSlam without any backup. He wanted to take on the full might of The Bloodline. However, before that, he challenged Solo to show up on SmackDown next week for a confrontation.
