Wrestling journalist Bill Apter is thrilled about the thought of a major 12-year veteran making another surprise appearance at the Royal Rumble 2025. He believes that it will make fans ecstatic.
On the latest episode of The Wrestling Time Machine, host Mac Davis asked WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long and legendary wrestling journalist Bill Apter about their thoughts on Jordynne Grace and her possible appearance as a surprise entrant in the 'Rumble. She was a shock entry in the Women's 'Rumble Match last year and seems to have caught the eyes of those backstage in WWE.
Bill Apter said that fans would "go crazy" if Jordynne Grace was a surprise entry in the Women's Royal Rumble Match.

"Absolutely, I think the fans would go crazy over that. She's been in NXT a few times so they're familiar with her. She's got a great presence and a great ring style, I think the Royal Rumble...she'd be an amazing participant in that," Apter said. [0:35-0:52]

Shawn Michales made a statement to Triple H after Jordynne Grace's Royal Rumble appearance in 2024
Shawn Michaels got on Triple H's back after Jordynne Grace's surprise appearance in the Women's Rumble Match in 2024. In an interview with Adrian Hernandez, Michaels admitted that he was very jealous that Triple H managed to secure Grace.
Michaels subsequently told The Game that the latter owed him one, resulting in numerous appearances for Grace in NXT over the course of the rest of the year.
"I've been very public about being a fan of Jordynne Grace. I expressed to Hunter privately that I was very jealous that he had her for the Rumble. He owed me one. He owed me a big one...
