Wrestling journalist and Sportskeeda senior editor Bill Apter recently spoke about potential WWE stars who could win the Women's United States Championship. The title was introduced this week on SmackDown.
The SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis sent shockwaves through WWE when he unveiled the new Women's United States Championship. He promised the new title would bring a new level of competition and prestige to the already stacked women's division.
This week on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk, Apter claimed that Charlotte Flair didn't need the United States Championship. He pointed out that the 13-time Women's Champion had a long tenure with the company already and didn't need the title to get over.
"I think Charlotte's too over and experienced for it. I don't think she needs that title. I just see Jade Cargill coming out with that US title, man!" [4:55 onwards]

Charlotte Flair has been out of action for almost a year with her last match happening on the December 8, 2023, edition of the blue brand. She injured her knee during the match and lost to Asuka.
It will be interesting to see if the 13-time Champion returns to WWE to stake a claim for the new United States title.
