WWE is all set to host SummerSlam in Cleveland. The August 3, 2024, event is already generating a lot of hype with all the title matches on its card. Interestingly, however, a 14-time WWE champion has seemingly hinted at a return after a 238-day absence.
Charlotte Flair was last seen wrestling at the Stamford-based promotion on December 8, 2023. The match ended with The Queen injuring her ACL, meniscus, and MCL as she took on Damage CTRL’s Asuka. Notably, she recently added a story on her Instagram handle that may be a hint that she may be making her long-awaited return.
In the caption-less story, Charlotte Flair can be seen preparing to travel with her bags. Perhaps she is on her way to Cleveland to make an explosive comeback at The Biggest Party of the Summer, where she could be seen helping or attacking a superstar.
Interestingly, this story comes almost immediately after another update bolsters her chances of making a SummerSlam comeback.
Charlotte Flair was seen doing special training at WWE premises
Charlotte Flair has interacted with her fans throughout her hiatus and posted several life and recovery updates.
Interestingly, she shared a story on Instagram a few days ago in which she could be seen training inside a squared circle. Notably, this ring wasn’t just an ordinary ring; it was at the WWE Performance Center.
The story has since disappeared, but it has led fans to believe they might see their Queen make a return. Flair’s comeback would prove to be an obstacle for several superstars on the SmackDown brand.
It would be interesting to see the 14-time women's world champ return and stir up trouble for all the superstars who replaced her in her absence.
