WWE recently released multiple superstars ahead of the go-home edition of SmackDown before Crown Jewel. A wrestling veteran predicted two of these wrestlers would eventually return to the Stamford-based company.
Last Friday, WWE released Baron Corbin, Indi Hartwell, and Tegan Nox, which surprised many fans. On the Gigantic Pop podcast, wrestling veteran Matt Morgan addressed the recent departures, pointing out that Corbin had several opportunities despite them possibly not being the best ones.
The TNA legend stated that Hartwell and Nox's departure was because WWE has an "embarrassment of riches in the women's division" on all three brands. Nevertheless, he predicted that the two recently released female superstars would one day return to the promotion under Triple H's creative leadership.
"It doesn't mean it's over. So, one thing we've learned about Hunter and WWE under Hunter's leadership is when there's an opening for a storyline to come back in, I don't we've seen the last of Indi Hartwell. I bet my house she comes back to this company one day. I bet my house Tegan Nox will come back to this company one day," he said. [From 38:53 to 39:09]

How did Indi Hartwell react to her WWE release?
Following her release from the Stamford-based company, Indi Hartwell took to Instagram to share a heartwarming message addressing her departure. She stated that she was grateful that she got to live her childhood dream for five years.
The former NXT Women's Champion claimed it was fitting that she had her final match in Brooklyn at Barclays Center, where it all started for her:
"Got to live out a childhood dream for the last 5 years and I'm so grateful! I'm just a girl from Australia who never took naur for an answer and made her dreams a reality. It all started with a match in Brooklyn at the Barclays Center and fittingly, ends there too. Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened🫶," she wrote.
Hartwell lost her final match as she teamed up with Candice LeRae against Naomi and Bayley on the November 1 episode of SmackDown. It would be interesting to see if she would one day return to the Stamford-based company.
