Bob Holly worked for WWE between 1994 and 2009. In a recent interview, Rene Dupree revealed what happened when he last saw the six-time Hardcore Champion.
Dupree crossed paths with Holly many times during his WWE run between 2002 and 2007. The two-time tag team champion once claimed on his Cafe de Rene show that the 61-year-old's main goal in WWE was to get co-workers fired.
Speaking on The Hannibal TV, Dupree opened up about the time he ignored his former opponent at an independent event in the United Kingdom:
"Last I seen Bob was in England and I didn't even say hi to him and that made him mad, and I couldn't give two f***s." [0:27 – 0:34]
Dupree and Holly wrestled more than a dozen times in WWE, usually at live events. In their last match against each other, Holly picked up the win at an untelevised show in Scotland on November 14, 2006.
Rene Dupree claims Bob Holly refused to lose a match
After leaving WWE in 2009, Bob Holly continued to wrestle on the independent scene for several years.
Rene Dupree alleged that Holly was once booked to lose against AEW's Brian Cage at a show run by Pat Buck. However, he refused to go ahead with the match due to the finish.
"The time before that that I seen him, he was at a signing in New Jersey and they were supposed to be used on a WrestlePro show that's run by Pat Buck," Dupree said. "He was an agent for WWE, now he's an agent for AEW, and he [Bob Holly] refused to put over Brian Cage, so they just said, 'Scr*w him, we never wanna use you.'" [0:37 – 1:01]
Dupree recently made headlines after claiming WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley has separated from his wife.
