The WWE rosters include a strong mix of recent call-ups, rising stars, experienced stars, and veteran future Hall of Famers. One of the most decorated active superstars is being celebrated this month, and now he's issued definitive remarks on how he got to where he's at right now.

The Miz is widely regarded as one of WWE's most accomplished superstars. He is a former two-time WWE and United States Champion, eight-time Intercontinental Champion, nine-time Tag Team Champion. The A-Lister is one of the longest-signed roster members today. The veteran dropped out of college to appear on MTV's The Real World in 2001, and that led to appearances on multiple spin-offs, plus fame that would help him get signed to a developmental contract after a stint on the fourth season of Tough Enough.

Mike Mizanin actually developed his wrestling persona, The Miz, while on MTV. He is currently being celebrated by the WWE Universe for his 20th year with the company, and the celebration includes his own A&E Biography: WWE Legends documentary, which will premiere this Sunday. The current RAW star recently shared a clip from the episode, looking at how he was never Mike again after The Miz came out during The Real World. He gave major credit to the show.

"I would not be where I am today without that show. Nearly everyday someone that comes up to me & says 'I remember you from The Real World.' The impact it had not only on me but generations of people is mind blowing. The Miz’s origin story will always begin w/ The Real World," The Miz wrote.

The Miz and R-Truth have feuded with The Judgment Day as of late. After capturing the World Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania XL, Awesome Truth just dropped the straps to Finn Balor and JD McDonagh in the RAW main event on June 24. This week's RAW saw Balor, McDonagh, and Carlito defeat Awesome Truth and Braun Strowman.

John Cena shares thoughts on The Miz's spot in WWE

John Cena and The Miz have shared the World Wrestling Entertainment ring close to 200 times. They have headlined shows against each other and teamed up. The Awesome One recently reacted to an unfortunate record.

The Cenation Leader recently announced that he will retire in 2025. However, Cena was also interviewed for the upcoming documentary on The Miz, and he had some surprising words on how he sees The A-Lister in the overall WWE picture.

"He's the most, not one of the most, the most underrated WWE Superstar in the history of the business," John Cena said of The Miz.

The first-ever Cena vs. Miz match on a premium live event came at The Bash 2009 after a feud between the two, with Cena winning in just under six minutes. The last time the two veterans worked together was on the RAW after WrestleMania XL, when the 16-time World Champion teamed with Awesome Truth to defeat Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, and JD McDonagh.
