One of WWE's most accomplished superstars today will not return to Monday Night RAW anytime soon. An unfortunate update revealed that he re-injured his elbow during the company's Japan tour.

WWE recently traveled to the land of the rising sun, where they held shows in Tokyo and Osaka. One of the names who returned from an elbow injury was The New Day's Kofi Kingston. Xavier Woods has been facing a major adversary on RAW in the form of Karrion Kross with little assistance.

This week on RAW, it was revealed that despite competing, the decorated 22-time champion Kofi Kingston re-injured his elbow. Kross mocked him about it in front of Xavier Woods.

Kross even mentioned Kofi Kingston's humiliating world title loss to Brock Lesnar in 2019. Xavier Woods would go on to lose to The Final Testament's leader.

Sami Zayn had taken a selfie with Kingston and Woods ahead of the Japan tour but joked that Kingston didn't give his consent to be photographed:

If it's true, we wish Kofi Kingston a speedy recovery. There was some anticipation that he would come out after Woods' loss on RAW, but that was not the case.
