On the latest episode of WWE NXT, Trick Williams collided with Shawn Spears in a singles match in the main event. However, Brooks Jensen invaded the show and attacked the current NXT Champion, which cost him the match.
During the bout, Whoop That Trick hit a big chop at ringside. Spears took down his opponent with a Lou Thesz Press in the ring and pounded him on the mat. He then hit Williams with an uppercut in the corner. The latter retaliated with a series of chops in the corner and a clothesline.
Both men knocked each other out with a big boot. Oro Mensah then showed up and attacked Ethan Page, who was on commentary. Shawn Spears locked Trick Williams in the STF but the latter managed to grab the rope. The current NXT Champion "Hulked Up" and took down the former AEW star with multiple blows.
Spears countered with a superkick and a modified Codebreaker, which got a two-count. The Chairman hit Williams with an elbow strike but the latter took him out with a pop-up KO punch. Spears hit a backstabber and Trick slammed him with a uranage.
Brooks Jensen, who announced a few days ago that he was leaving WWE, tried to interfere in the match but WWE officials and security held him back. The 22-year-old star then blasted Trick Williams in the face with the hood of the announce table. Shawn Spears then nailed the champion with the C4 and won the match via pinfall.
