A former WWE Superstar who has been a part of the wrestling industry for over two decades recently expressed her doubts about ever being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. The name being discussed here is former Women's Champion Gail Kim.

Kim is currently a producer and occasional on-screen talent for TNA Wrestling. Meanwhile, in 2003, the star's impressive skills earned her a spot on the Stamford-based company's roster. Making a memorable debut, the 47-year-old veteran won the Women's Championship in her first match.

Although she had two brief stints with the Sports Entertainment Giant, Gail Kim gained more prominence in TNA. She won the Knockouts Championship an impressive seven times and was inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame in 2016.

While participating in a virtual signing event with K&S WrestleFest, Gail Kim stated that she did not believe she deserved a place in the WWE Hall of Fame. She acknowledged her early success, winning the Women's Championship on her first night, but attributed it more to hype and inexperience compared to genuine skill.

Former WWE writer buries Judgment Day HERE

"I don’t think I would go in [WWE Hall of Fame]. My career, all my accomplishments, I mean besides the fact that I won the title on my first night. I’ll always be appreciative of that fact. I wouldn’t take it away now, but I think if you asked me back then, I was very green when I started and when I won that title, it was off a lot of hype," Kim said. (H/T - Wrestling Headlines)

Gail Kim rules out WWE in-ring return

For those unaware, Kim made a controversial departure from the Sports Entertainment Giant in 2011. The TNA Hall of Famer eliminated herself from a women's battle royal within the first minute, resulting in her exit.

During the virtual signing on K&S WrestleFest, Gail Kim stated that she doesn't think World Wrestling Entertainment would have her back in the company after how things ended between the two parties.

"I don’t think they [WWE] would have me back [as an in-ring performer]. I mean, there’s a lot of reasons why. I don’t know how much they hold grudges or anything like that," she said.

Despite the former Women's Champion's denial of a possible WWE Hall of Fame induction, fans remain hopeful that it will occur.
