A lot has changed in WWE in the last few months, with many notable names departing the company. Another name was recently added to the list as NXT star Damon Kemp revealed that he is no longer a part of the global juggernaut.
The 25-year-old joined the Stamford-based promotion in 2021. He worked across different shows for the company, such as 205 Live, NXT, and NXT UK. The star joined Roderick Strong in the Diamond Mine in 2022 but ended up turning on the group a few weeks later. Kemp later joined the No Quarter Catch Crew. However, he was recently replaced in the group by Tavion Heights after the latter defeated him in what ended up being his last match for WWE.
Moments ago, Damon Kemp took to X (formerly Twitter) to reveal that he was no longer under contract with the global juggernaut. The former NXT star also posted his business email, noting that he was free for bookings.

Damon Kemp is the brother of former WWE Superstar Gable Steveson
Damon Kemp, real-life name Bobby Steveson, is the brother of former WWE star Gable Steveson. Gable joined the global juggernaut in 2021 with a lot of hype behind him. However, the Olympic Gold medalist failed to make a mark in the pro wrestling world and was released from his contract a few months ago.
Gable Steveson was touted as the 'next Kurt Angle' by many. The star was introduced on the big stage at WrestleMania 38 where he was introduced by Stephanie McMahon. He also appeared on SmackDown for Kurt Angle's birthday celebration. However, despite the company's best efforts, the rising star failed to replicate his freestyle wrestling success in the global juggernaut.
Bobby Steveson, on the other hand, was a prominent part of NXT during his time on the developmental brand. The 25-year-old competed in close to 100 matches in his WWE career, much more than his younger brother Gable.
