250 lb major star ending Cody Rhodes' Undisputed WWE Championship reign must happen, says ex-host

Cody Rhodes has held the Undisputed WWE Championship for over two months. A former WWE host now thinks a multi-time world champion should end The American Nightmare's title reign.

The 250 lb superstar in question is Randy Orton. On his The Wrestling Matt podcast, former RAW Talk host Matt Camp urged the Stamford-based company to book The Viper against his former Legacy teammate, Cody Rhodes, in a championship match, claiming the bout must happen. Meanwhile, he disclosed that he wants to see the 44-year-old turn heel for that feud.

The released talent also expressed his desire to see Orton end The American Nightmare's championship reign:

"I've said it and I'll say it again, I want the worst meanest heelest vile villainous Randy Orton we can get against Cody Rhodes. And I want him to beat Cody. And Cody can go back on the chase," he said. [49:08 - 49:22]

Matt Camp wants Cody Rhodes to face another WWE Superstar

In addition to Randy Orton, Matt Camp wants to see Cody Rhodes square off against former WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther. The Ring General and The American Nightmare have never gone one-on-one.

On his The Wrestling Matt podcast, the former RAW Talk host claimed the Stamford-based company must eventually book the two superstars against each other:

"You have to do Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton. You have to. You have to do Cody Rhodes and Gunther. Those are the two that have to happen. 100% have to happen," he said.

While Gunther is currently on a different brand than Rhodes, Orton is fighting alongside The American Nightmare against The Bloodline. It would be interesting to see if The Viper would turn on his former teammate.
