26-year-old WWE star names Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, and CM Punk as some of his mentors

WWE's landscape shifted when Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and many more went on hiatus due to different reasons. Meanwhile, the second-generation star Bron Breakker addressed the locker room and named some of his mentors behind the scenes.

In 2021, Bron Breakker debuted for WWE's developmental brand and became the face of the brand for years to come as the NXT Champion. The second-generation star is still learning and evolving on the main roster, as he's yet to cement his name and legacy as a performer in the Stamford-based promotion.

In an interview with Chris Vannini on Getting Over: Wrestling Podcast, the host asked Bron Breakker about his mentors in the promotion. The second-generation star spoke highly of WWE's locker room and primarily named Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, and CM Punk as some who have helped and mentored him.

"You know, Roman Reigns has been really great. You know, Paul Heyman. It's really the locker room, man. The locker room has welcomed me with open arms and any kind of questions or anything I've, CM Punk's another one. I mean everybody has been extremely welcoming of me. Everyone's willing to help and excited for me. Everybody wants to see everybody do well and sucessed and it's a cool thing," Breakker said. [From 01:22:32 to 01:23:07]

Bron Breakker has previously expressed his interest in facing Roman Reigns in WWE

Bron Breakker immediately reached the top of the developmental brand when he defeated Tommaso Ciampa for the NXT Championship. The rising star faced a plethora of names on NXT before moving to the main roster.

Meanwhile, Roman Reigns evolved as The Bloodline's Tribal Chief and dominated Friday Night SmackDown as the Undisputed Universal Champion. In an interview with WWE Deutschland in 2022, the two-time NXT Champion expressed his interest in facing several names, including Reigns.

The second-generation star is currently on Monday Night RAW and feuding with Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship.
