Roman Reigns is at the pinnacle of the sports entertainment industry, and many WWE Superstars aspire to share the ring with him. Recently, former Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker expressed his desire for a dream match against The OTC.
The Dog of WWE captured his first-ever Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam 2024 by defeating Sami Zayn. However, Breakker's reign as champion lasted only 51 days, as Jey Uso ended it on the September 23, 2024 episode of Monday Night RAW.
In an interview with Travis Sam of WKDQ 99.5, Bron Breakker expressed his admiration for Gunther's exceptional reign as the World Heavyweight Champion, acknowledging his talent and dominance. While the 26-year-old WWE star didn't set a specific timeline for winning his first World Title, he envisioned a potential blockbuster showdown with The Ring General.
"Well, I don’t know [when I’ll win my first World Title]. I think, as far as the World Heavyweight Championship, Gunther is the champion right now. Gunther's been exceptional in everything that he’s done. I have a lot of respect for him. Gunther is an outstanding talent. I don’t foresee him losing that championship, for a while. I could be wrong but, I think Gunther versus myself would be an absolute showdown. It’s a pay-per-view worthy match," Breakker said. [H/T - POST Wrestling]
Looking further ahead, the former WWE Intercontinental Champion also expressed his desire to face Roman Reigns in a dream match, acknowledging the latter's status as the greatest of all time. Bron Breakker added:
"I think obviously, one day, me and Roman Reigns has gotta be the agenda at some point. He’s the best, he’s the greatest of all-time. I think that’s gotta happen at some point. It’s gonna be down the line obviously just because he’s such a huge star but I think one day, that would be my dream match really to get to." [H/T - POST Wrestling]
Former WWE star has two major opponents for Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41
The real-life Bloodline member and former WWE star Afa Anoa'i Jr. shared his two cents on who could potentially face The Original Tribal Chief at WrestleMania 41.
Speaking exclusively with Sportskeeda Wrestling, Afa Anoa'i Jr. suggested that Solo Sikoa could be an opponent for Roman Reigns at Mania next year if the storyline between the two is prolonged. The former WWE star expressed his personal desire to see a match between The Head of the Table and The Rock at the Showcase of The Immortals.
"They could drag this [to WrestleMania], you know. If they drag this, then Solo would be the obvious answer. I still wanna see Roman vs. The Rock," he said.
Fans will have to wait and see what the future holds for Roman Reigns. Whether he will face Solo Sikoa, The Rock or someone else remains uncertain.
