Wrestlers often leave WWE and create their own path to glory. One such wrestler, Sareee Bomb, did something similar in the United Kingdom.
Sareee is one of the fastest-rising stars in Japan's women's wrestling scene and has won multiple titles at a young age. In 2023, she began appearing in different promotions in Japan in the hopes of adding more gold to her already impressive resume.
Almost a year ago, it was announced the 28-year-old star had signed a three-year deal with Sukeban. The promotion was just established on September 1, 2023, and signing a notable name like Sareee is a pretty big deal.
Yesterday, Sareee Bomb made history when she became the second-ever Sukeban World Champion. She defeated Commander Nakajima in the United Kingdom and ended her 300-plus reign.

This wasn't Sareee's only title win of 2024 as she also made history in a different promotion as well. Bomb become the inaugural Marigold World Champion on July 13, 2024, by defeating Guilia.
What did Sareee do in WWE?
In 2020, Sareee signed a deal with WWE and spent three years on the developmental brand under Triple H and Shawn Michaels' creative leadership. The Stamford-based promotion allowed her to finish her independent dates before she debuted for the company in 2021.
After a new name and music, she had a short stint with a few matches under her belt. In 2022, she was repackaged and feuded with Tiffany Stratton for a while on the developmental brand.
Following a few losses, she crossed paths with Chase U on WWE NXT. Sareee spent a while with the faction and got an opportunity to challenge Mandy Rose for the NXT Women's Championship.
After multiple losses and a lack of creative direction, she asked for her release in the coming months. In 2023, she was released from the Stamford-based promotion and returned to Japan, where she's currently working.
