28-year-old WWE star hints at change after unfortunate PLE loss

WWE stars strive to win their matches each time they step into the ring. Several times, however, they embark on a new and vigorous change after suffering defeat. Notably, a 28-year-old star has found herself in a similar situation and has hinted at a big change after losing an important PLE match.

Jacy Jayne fought alongside Jazmyn Nyx against the tag team of Arianna Grace and Karmen Petrovic at NXT Heatwave on July 7, 2024. The match saw both teams fight hard and escape several pinfalls on the count of two. However, the team of Grace and Petrovic eventually ended up winning the match. After the loss, Jayne has now posted a tweet on X expressing her feelings.

“Only a matter of time before it all comes to fruition. The vision never changes.”

Thus, Jacy Jayne may be planning to unleash a whole new side of her after her loss at the Toronto PLE. Moreover, the loss would be more stinging to her since she is a former record-tying two-time NXT Women’s Tag Team Champ. Interestingly, she received a gift last month from a WWE Champion which may help her propel herself to big heights once again.

When WWE Champion Cody Rhodes gave a special gift to Jacy Jayne

The June 11, 2024 episode of WWE NXT saw Cody Rhodes make a special visit to the developmental division. The WWE Undisputed Champion paid a visit to several stars backstage, which also included Jacy Jayne. The 28-year-old wears a black nose and face guard after suffering a nose injury. Interestingly, Rhodes pulled out his face guard dating back to his ‘Undashing Era’ and gave it to Jayne.

Jacy Jayne held the gift from The American Nightmare and received it gladly. Now that she has strengthened her resolve with a message to the NXT fans, the gold and white brand may see her get back to her winning ways. Notably, this strategy was also used by Natalya and she got back on track almost instantly. It would be interesting to see if things work out for Jayne as well.
