A popular WWE star competed in another promotion outside the company and also picked up a big win. The 29-year-old star in question is Karmen Petrovic.
Karmen signed with WWE in 2022 and found some success by participating in the 2023 NXT Women's Breakout Tournament. She won the first round of the tournament but lost to Lola Vice in the semi-final.
The 29-year-old star has been a regular feature on NXT and has competed for the brand nearly every week. Petrovic has also grown to become a popular star among the fans and she is also in demand outside the company.
On September 5, 2024, she made her TNA debut when she answered Jordynne Grace's open challenge. Although she lost the match, her performance was impressive. Now, Karmen Petrovic competed in Josh Barnett's Bloodsport XII against Sumie Sakai. The NXT star was able to defeat her opponent in a dominating fashion and made an emphatic statement that she could very well be a future star.

Josh Barnett's Bloodsport XII featured stars from WWE and AEW
Josh Barnett's Bloodsport is an event held by Game Changer Wrestler that brings a more MMA style to the pro wrestling format. The ropes are removed from the ring, and each match must end either via knockout or submission.
Every year, several wrestlers from multiple promotions step inside the ring to compete at Bloodsport. Tonight's event featured some big names, including stars from WWE and AEW.
Apart from Karmen Petrovic, NXT's Charlie Dempsey and Myles Borne were also scheduled to compete at the event. The card also featured Marina Shafir, who appeared along with Jon Moxley. Shafir's opponent for the night was Jody Threat. One of AEW's newest stars, MVP, is also set to compete in the main event against Josh Barnett.
It will be interesting to see if World Wrestling Entertainment will allow more of its NXT stars to compete in matches outside the promotion.
