Naomi has had a rough couple of Friday nights recently, with SmackDown not going the way she planned two weeks in a row. The WWE star received an apology regarding tonight's episode.
Last time out, she was unable to win the WWE Women's Championship from Nia Jax despite a monumental effort. Tiffany Stratton hit Naomi with her Money in the Bank briefcase to cost her the match, before cashing it in on Jax. The current Women's Tag Team Champion got a shot at redemption tonight.
She was part of a fatal four-way match for a shot at Stratton's title, with Nia Jax, Bianca Belair, and Bayley also involved. Candice LeRae interfered in the bout and pulled Belair's hair braid to distract her, as the two got into a tug of war.
The EST won that battle, but the force of her pull caused her to accidentally hit Naomi with the braid. This ultimately led to Bayley pinning her with the Rose Plant to pick up the win. So, it seems like all is not well between the reigning WWE Women's Tag Team Champions.

Bianca Belair posted an Instagram story where she clearly apologized to her tag team partner for the incident that occurred in the ring:
"I'm so sorry @trinity_fatu," wrote Belair.

Naomi is yet to respond to Belair's apology. It remains to be seen what's next in this saga between the Women's Tag Team Champions on SmackDown. Meanwhile, Bayley is set to challenge Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women's Championship on next Friday's episode.
